Cordless Child Safe Window Treatments

Can you reach the top of your window? If the answer is yes, then lets cut the cord. The cordless option is great for two main reason, no unsightly cords to see, and it also reduces or eliminates the light gap on many treatments because no notch is needed for the cord.

Some customers have chosen to go cordless even if they can't reach the top of the window, the ease us use is worth having the blind hang a few inches in the window. They'll raise it as high as they can in the morning and just lower it at night.

The most popular shades we've been going cordless on are the honeycombs, roman shades, woven woods, and even the silhouette. Horizons just came out with a new style of cordless roller shade that has really peaked my interest as well.

Cordless shades go great with plantation shutters as well. Even though they're a different style of treatment, the cordless feature keeps them all similar in that there are no strings anywhere.

Three of our go to slider options are also cordless. The Hunter Douglas Vertiglide, the Horizons Averte Fold, and bypass sliding plantation shutters all move side to side without any cords. Just grab the lead rail or shutter panel and start walking.

I ordered a sidelight plantation shutter and it is perfect! They did beautiful work and was very fast to install. After placing the order it did take about 6 weeks for it to come in but I think that is pretty common. I was very pleased with the entire process and they were about $75 cheaper than other estimates.

I have not received my blinds yet, but let me tell you, AAA Blind Factory is the best. They came out and measured my sliders, I provided them with a deposit check. Unbeknownst to me, I had torn off 2 checks and they had a blank check of mine. Yesterday in the mail, they had returned my blank check!
